Women's cargo pants

Originally these were worn by soldiers, but today they’re loved by every fan of streetwear. Including you. Yep, we’re speaking about cargo pants. These used to be army pants, but then they became popular among civilians as well; they’re comfortable and have lots of pockets for all kinds of stuff. Their biggest hype came in the 90s, when they were worn primarily by urban rappers and hip-hop legends, making them a leading fashion trend. And yes, girls wore them too. Mostly with a belt with a buckle. That's because there used to be a time when it wasn’t easy to find women’s cargo pants that would fit. They were made only for men. And only this kind of belt could prevent the cargo pants from falling while not having them look like a sack of potatoes. And yes, you might have connected the dots already: this is where the trend of having the longer end of the belt hanging from your waist started.

Cargo pants, sometimes called joggers, are best combined with a tight crop top, a top with thin shoulder straps, or oversized t-shirts with printing. You can wear them with platform sneakers or the popular Vans Old Skool, and you’ll have an outfit to be proud of.
